BreakerHQ is a trading name of 1Z Digital Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 17346613). Everywhere these terms say “we”, that means 1Z Digital Ltd.
BreakerHQ records vehicle intake at your yard, codes the waste, reports waste receipts to Defra's Digital Waste Tracking service under your registration, and keeps the evidence trail, with an offline-first design built for yard conditions.
BreakerHQ is in early access and active development ahead of the 1 October 2026 reporting mandate. Features will change. We will tell you about changes that affect your compliance workflow.
Your yard remains the legal duty-holder. BreakerHQ is a reporting and record-keeping tool: it records and transmits exactly what you enter. The accuracy of entered data (weights, suppliers, carrier details, consignment codes) is your responsibility. Keep your account credentials secure and remove members who leave. Accounts require a confirmed email address. Records need identifiable, reachable authors.
Use the service only for your own yard's legitimate waste-tracking and operations. Do not attempt to access other yards' data, probe the service's security, or submit records you know to be false.
We run the service on a best-efforts basis. The offline-first design means records captured at the gate are stored on your device and delivered when connectivity returns. A service outage does not lose your records.
Paid plans are a rolling monthly subscription, billed via Stripe. There is no minimum term: you can cancel at any time from Settings, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing month. You keep access until then and are not charged again. Pilot features that are currently free will be flagged before they become paid.
We may adjust prices once in any 12-month period in line with inflation (the UK Consumer Prices Index), and will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before a change takes effect. If you don't want to pay the new price, cancel before it starts. You will not be charged it.
Plans that include eBay listings cover a reasonable volume of listing activity for a single yard. Because each listing costs us real processing and infrastructure, each plan carries a fair-usage volume, and higher-volume plans are available. If your listing volume is materially above your plan's fair usage, we will tell you and ask you to move to an appropriate plan. We will never bill you for a higher plan without your agreement, but we may pause new listings above the fair-usage volume until the plan matches the usage. Taking down a listing you have already published is never restricted.
BreakerHQ is a reporting, record-keeping and listing tool. To the fullest extent the law allows:
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Your yard remains the legal duty-holder for its waste and its eBay selling account.
You can stop using BreakerHQ at any time and ask for an export of your yard's records. Waste-tracking records already submitted to Defra remain with Defra. Your evidence trail can be exported as a PDF pack from the app. eBay listings published on your account remain yours, on your account.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
